Target: Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor Friedrich Merz, President Donald Trump, and all members of the 'coalition of the willing'
Goal: Ensure that peace negotiations on Ukraine are transparent, inclusive, and respect Ukraine's sovereignty, with President Zelensky and Ukrainian civil society at the center of all discussions.
Recent reports indicate that European leaders and the US are moving forward with high-stakes talks about the future of Ukraine. While the stated aim is to secure peace, there are growing concerns that the process is being driven behind closed doors, with Ukraine's own leadership and civil society sidelined in key discussions.
History has shown that peace deals imposed without the full participation of those most affected are less likely to succeed and more likely to undermine justice and self-determination. We call on all leaders involved in the upcoming negotiations to commit to a transparent process that centers Ukrainian voices, respects Ukraine's territorial integrity, and upholds international law.
We urge the coalition and the US administration to reject any peace arrangement that redraws borders by force or excludes Ukraine from decision-making. True peace can only be achieved through inclusive dialogue, accountability, and respect for human rights.
