Target: Leaders of France, Germany, Britain, the United States, and the European Union
Goal: Ensure any peace negotiations regarding Ukraine are transparent, inclusive, and uphold Ukraine's territorial integrity and the self-determination of its people.
The recent Trump-Putin summit in Alaska failed to deliver a ceasefire or any meaningful progress toward ending the war in Ukraine. Instead, proposals have emerged that would force Ukraine to cede sovereignty over regions like Donbas in exchange for a temporary halt to Russian offensives elsewhere. These backroom deals, made without the direct participation of Ukraine or its allies, risk legitimizing aggression and undermining international law.
Ukrainian President Zelensky and European leaders have rightly criticized such proposals as attempts to buy time for further Russian advances and to pressure Ukraine into unjust concessions. The ongoing violence—evidenced by continued drone and missile attacks—shows that Russia has no genuine intention of ending the conflict on fair terms.
We call on all negotiating parties to reject any peace plan that rewards military aggression, excludes Ukrainian voices, or sacrifices the rights and safety of civilians for short-term political gains. The international community must stand united in support of a just and lasting peace that respects Ukraine's sovereignty and the will of its people.
