Target: President Donald Trump, US Congress, European Union leaders, United Nations Secretary-General
Goal: We call on the US administration, European leaders, and the international community to reject any peace process that forces Ukraine to surrender territory or accept terms dictated by Russia. We demand a just and lasting peace that respects Ukraine's right
The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in immense human suffering, with over a million casualties and widespread destruction. Despite this, recent diplomatic efforts have focused on pressuring Ukraine to accept a deal that would legitimize Russia's illegal occupation of Ukrainian land and undermine the country's sovereignty. President Trump's recent statements—urging Ukraine to make a deal with Russia and downplaying the need for a ceasefire—are alarming and risk emboldening further aggression.
Ukraine's right to territorial integrity and self-determination is enshrined in international law. Any peace process must be based on these principles, not on the demands of an aggressor. Forcing Ukraine to cede territory or accept limitations on its security undermines global norms and threatens the security of all nations.
We urge international leaders to stand with Ukraine and reject any settlement that rewards aggression, strips Ukraine of its land, or limits its right to choose its own alliances. A just peace must include strong security guarantees, full respect for Ukraine's sovereignty, and accountability for war crimes.
