Goal: To urge U.S. leaders to reaffirm support for Ukraine, reject any agreement that legitimizes Russian territorial gains, and ensure that peace negotiations do not occur under the threat of continued violence.
The recent summit between President Trump and Vladimir Putin has been celebrated by Russian officials and state media as a victory for the Kremlin, with Putin's demands and narratives gaining traction at the highest levels of American leadership. Reports indicate that the U.S. administration is shifting responsibility for ending the war onto Ukraine and Europe, while backing away from previous demands for a ceasefire before negotiations. This approach risks legitimizing Russia's illegal invasion, undermining Ukrainian sovereignty, and setting a dangerous precedent for international relations.
We, the undersigned, call on U.S. leaders to stand firmly with Ukraine and the principles of international law. Peace cannot be achieved through appeasement or by rewarding aggression. Any negotiations must be based on respect for Ukraine's territorial integrity, the cessation of hostilities, and the self-determination of the Ukrainian people. We demand that the U.S. government:

- Reaffirm unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, including Crimea and all occupied regions.
- Reject any diplomatic agreement or negotiation process that legitimizes Russia's territorial gains or ongoing military operations.
- Maintain and strengthen economic sanctions against Russia until all hostilities cease and Russian forces withdraw from Ukrainian territory.
- Ensure that any peace talks are contingent upon an immediate and verifiable ceasefire by Russian forces.
- Increase humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine to support its defense and civilian population.
- Publicly condemn any attempts to shift responsibility for peace onto Ukraine or European allies, and recognize Russia as the aggressor.
