Goal: We call on U.S. political leaders to reject any peace deal that forces Ukraine to cede territory to Russia and to support a just resolution that upholds Ukraine's sovereignty and international law.
The war in Ukraine has brought devastation, displacement, and loss of life to millions. Yet, recent comments from political figures suggest the possibility of pressuring Ukraine to give up territory in exchange for peace. This approach would reward aggression and set a dangerous precedent for the world.
We urge our leaders to stand firm in support of Ukraine's internationally recognized borders and to reject any deal that legitimizes the illegal seizure of land by force. The United States must work with allies to pursue a ceasefire and peace negotiations that respect Ukraine's sovereignty, ensure the withdrawal of Russian forces, and guarantee security for all people in the region.
Justice and peace cannot be achieved by sacrificing the rights of the Ukrainian people. We demand principled leadership that upholds international law and human rights.
