Goal: We call on President Trump, the US administration, and allied leaders to reject any peace deal that forces Ukraine to give up its territory, and instead support a just, democratic, and lasting peace that respects Ukraine's sovereignty and the rights of it
The ongoing war in Ukraine, sparked by Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, has resulted in immense human suffering and the loss of over a million lives. Recent summits and public statements indicate that President Trump is pressuring Ukraine to accept a peace deal that would require ceding the Donetsk region and potentially other territories to Russia. This proposal disregards Ukraine's constitutional commitment to its territorial integrity and the democratic will of its people.
Forcing Ukraine to surrender land under duress sets a dangerous precedent, rewarding aggression and undermining the principles of international law. Ukrainians have the right to determine their own future, free from coercion and foreign imposition. Any peace agreement must be based on a genuine ceasefire, robust security guarantees, and respect for Ukraine's sovereignty and right to self-determination.
