Target: Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, President Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor Friedrich Merz, President Donald Trump, and other allied leaders
Goal: To urge the UK Prime Minister, European leaders, and the US government to reject any peace deal that cedes Ukrainian territory to Russia without the explicit consent of the Ukrainian people, and to uphold Ukraine’s right to self-determination.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has brought immense suffering to millions. Now, reports indicate that President Trump is considering supporting a Russian plan to annex Donetsk and Luhansk as a condition for ending the war. This approach would reward aggression and undermine international law, setting a dangerous precedent for future conflicts.
Any peace process must center the voices and rights of Ukrainians themselves—not be dictated by foreign powers or aggressors. The international community has a responsibility to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, not to legitimize land grabs through backroom deals.
We call on all allied leaders to reject any settlement that trades away Ukrainian land without democratic consent, and to ensure that Ukraine’s people are at the heart of all negotiations.
