Stand Firm: Demand Stronger European Action to Support Ukraine’s Sovereignty

Target: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Polish Prime Minister Do
Goal: Urge European leaders to strengthen their commitment to Ukraine by increasing humanitarian aid, maintaining and expanding sanctions on Russia, and ensuring that Ukraine’s right to self-determination is fully respected.
In the wake of the recent Trump-Putin summit, European leaders have reiterated their support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. While this public stance is welcome, it is crucial that European governments back their words with meaningful action. Ukraine’s right to self-determination and security must not be compromised in any international negotiations.
We call on European leaders to:
- Reject any limitations on Ukraine’s armed forces or international cooperation.
- Ensure Russia cannot veto Ukraine’s path to the EU or NATO.
- Maintain and strengthen sanctions against Russia until all Ukrainian territory is restored.
- Increase humanitarian and economic support to Ukraine’s people.
- Guarantee that any peace negotiations are led by and for Ukrainians, not imposed by external powers.
Now is the time for Europe to show leadership and solidarity. Stand with Ukraine—take action now!
