Target: U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and international mediators involved in Ukraine peace negotiations
Goal: Ensure that any peace negotiations between Russia and the United States fully respect Ukraine’s right to self-determination, uphold international law, and center the needs and rights of Ukrainian people.
The recent statement from President Putin, following talks with President Trump, signals a potential opening for peace in Ukraine. However, history has shown that peace processes which sideline the rights and voices of those most impacted often fail to deliver true justice or stability.
We call on all parties involved in negotiations to ensure that Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are non-negotiable. The people of Ukraine deserve a future free from violence, occupation, and external interference.
