Target: President Donald Trump, U.S. Congress, and U.S. State Department
Goal: We call on U.S. leaders to uphold Ukraine’s right to self-determination, reject any deals that legitimize Russia’s illegal occupation, and ensure full accountability and transparency in all diplomatic negotiations.
President Trump’s recent summit with Vladimir Putin ended without a concrete agreement, but the optics and rhetoric emerging from the meeting suggest a troubling willingness to legitimize Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. The lack of transparency, refusal to take questions, and the suggestion of possible land swaps as a condition for peace undermine both Ukraine’s sovereignty and the international rule of law.
Senate leaders and international allies have expressed alarm at the prospect of the U.S. abandoning its commitments to Ukraine and rewarding authoritarianism. Any peace process must be led by the Ukrainian people, not dictated by foreign powers or traded for political theater. We urge the U.S. government to stand firm in support of Ukraine, reject any deals that compromise its territorial integrity, and ensure that all negotiations are conducted openly and with full accountability to the public and our allies.
