Any peace deal must be more than a political handshake—it must address the root causes of the conflict, guarantee the safety and rights of Ukrainians, and hold perpetrators of war crimes accountable.
We call on U.S. leaders and international mediators to ensure that the voices of Ukrainian civil society, displaced persons, and marginalized communities are at the center of negotiations. A just peace must include mechanisms for accountability, reparations, and the long-term protection of human rights.
