Target: United States Congress, White House, and Department of State
Goal: We call on U.S. leaders to prioritize Ukrainian sovereignty, human rights, and inclusive diplomacy in all negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine.
Diplomatic efforts to end the war in Ukraine must not come at the expense of Ukrainian sovereignty or the rights of those affected by the conflict. While dialogue between world leaders is important, it is critical that Ukrainian voices, especially those of civil society and victims of aggression, are included in any peace process.
Negotiations that ignore the root causes of the conflict, or that sideline Ukraine's agency, risk perpetuating violence and instability. The United States has a responsibility to support a peace process that upholds international law, provides security guarantees for Ukraine, and centers justice for those harmed by war.
We urge our leaders to reject any deals that legitimize aggression or undermine Ukraine's right to self-determination. Instead, we demand a transparent, inclusive process that seeks lasting peace and accountability.
