Target: Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and the Coalition of the Willing
Goal: To urge Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Emmanuel Macron, and Chancellor Friedrich Merz to reject any peace proposals that undermine Ukraine’s territorial integrity or exclude Ukrainian voices from negotiations.
The recent summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin failed to produce a concrete agreement to end the war in Ukraine. Reports suggest that proposals are being considered which would see Russia retain control over Donetsk and Luhansk in exchange for relinquishing other occupied territories. Such a deal would set a dangerous precedent, rewarding aggression and disregarding the will of the Ukrainian people.
As the Coalition of the Willing convenes, it is imperative that Western leaders stand firm in their commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and democratic rights. Any peace agreement must be negotiated with full Ukrainian participation and consent, and must not legitimize the illegal occupation of Ukrainian land.
We call on our leaders to prioritize justice, democracy, and international law over expedient deals that compromise Ukraine’s future. The world is watching – we demand a peace process that centers the voices and rights of those most affected.
