Target: President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky, and all U.S. policymakers involved in Ukraine negotiations
Goal: We urge President Trump and all parties involved to ensure that any peace negotiations fully respect Ukraine's sovereignty, reject any forced territorial concessions, and prioritize human rights and justice for all affected by the war.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has caused immense suffering, displacement, and loss of life. As President Trump and President Zelensky meet in Washington, D.C., there is an opportunity to push for a genuine, just peace. However, peace cannot come at the expense of Ukraine's sovereignty or the rights of its people. Past ceasefire agreements have failed because they did not address the root causes of the conflict or hold aggressors accountable.
We are concerned that any 'Peace Agreement' negotiated behind closed doors or under pressure from foreign powers could result in unjust territorial concessions or undermine Ukraine’s right to self-determination. The Ukrainian people must not be forced to accept a deal that legitimizes aggression or rewards violations of international law.
We call on President Trump, President Zelensky, and all negotiators to ensure that any agreement:
Peace must mean justice, accountability, and respect for human rights—not just the absence of fighting. We demand a transparent, inclusive process that leads to a truly just and lasting peace.
