Demand Strong and Just Security Guarantees for Ukraine in Peace Talks

Target: President of the United States, Prime Minister of Canada, Coalition of the Willing, and international peace negotiators

Goal: Urge world leaders, including those in the United States and Canada, to ensure that any Russia-Ukraine peace deal includes concrete, binding security guarantees for Ukraine, protecting its independence and the rights of its people.

As peace negotiations to end Russia's war against Ukraine gain momentum, it is critical that any agreement includes robust and enforceable security guarantees for Ukraine’s sovereignty and safety.

The recent statements by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and the openness of the United States to provide security guarantees for Ukraine are important steps toward ending the devastating war against Kyiv. However, history has shown that vague promises are not enough to protect nations from aggression.

We call on all parties involved in the peace process to commit to strong, legally binding security guarantees for Ukraine. These guarantees must ensure Ukraine's right to self-determination, territorial integrity, and long-term peace. The Ukrainian people have endured immense suffering and deserve a future free from the threat of renewed violence.

We urge the United States, Canada, and all members of the Coalition of the Willing to stand firm in their support for Ukraine and to ensure that any peace agreement is just, transparent, and enforceable. Only through true international solidarity and accountability can lasting peace be achieved.
