Demand Real Peace and Justice for Ukraine: No Deals That Reward Aggression

The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in the deaths and injuries of over a million people and has displaced countless civilians. Yet, recent diplomatic efforts led by President Trump have centered on pressuring Ukraine to accept a deal that would hand over even more land to Russia—a move that would embolden further aggression and set a dangerous precedent for international law.

Ukraine has consistently called for a just peace based on full respect for its territorial integrity and meaningful security guarantees to prevent future invasions. Proposals that force Ukraine to cede Donetsk or any other region ignore the will of the Ukrainian people and the basic principles of self-determination and international law.

We stand with Ukraine and demand that US and European leaders:

• Reject any peace deal that legitimizes Russia’s illegal occupation or requires Ukraine to surrender territory.
• Provide ironclad security guarantees to Ukraine, including military, economic, and diplomatic support.
• Hold Russia accountable for war crimes and violations of international law.
• Maintain and strengthen sanctions until Russia fully withdraws from occupied Ukrainian territories.
• Support Ukraine’s right to seek NATO membership and defend its sovereignty.

Peace cannot be achieved by sacrificing justice or rewarding aggression. Stand with Ukraine for a just and lasting peace.
