Goal: Ensure that any peace agreement regarding Ukraine is transparent, respects Ukrainian sovereignty, and is not imposed by outside powers without full Ukrainian participation and consent.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has caused immense suffering and loss of life. Recent reports indicate that President Trump is pursuing a peace agreement with Russian President Putin, followed by talks with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. However, the lack of transparency and direct Ukrainian involvement in these negotiations is deeply troubling. Diplomatic sources have expressed concern that the United States and Russia may attempt to force a deal on Ukraine, potentially undermining its territorial integrity, sovereignty, and right to self-determination.
History has shown that peace agreements imposed without the full participation of those most affected rarely lead to lasting justice or stability.
