Target: US President, European Union leaders, NATO Secretary General, and the European Commission President
Goal: Urge US and European leaders to reject any peace deal that legitimizes territorial conquest and to support a just, democratic resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.
According to The New York Times, following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump proposed a peace agreement that would see Ukraine give up the remainder of the Donbass region to Russia. In return, a cease-fire and security guarantees for Kyiv and Europe would be offered.
This proposal, reportedly communicated to European leaders, would legitimize the forcible annexation of Ukrainian land, violate international law, and undermine the rights and self-determination of the Ukrainian people. It also risks emboldening future acts of aggression and destabilizing the region further.
We call on all responsible leaders to reject any agreement that cedes Ukrainian territory to Russia. Instead, we demand a peace process that centers Ukrainian voices, upholds international law, and seeks a democratic and just resolution to the conflict. The sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine must not be negotiable.
