Goal: To urge city, state, and federal leaders to prioritize community-led solutions and investments in Baltimore, rather than punitive measures and negative stereotypes.
Baltimore is not 'too far gone.' Our city is full of resilient people who care deeply about our neighborhoods and our future. Recent comments from national leaders have dismissed our struggles and ignored the root causes of crime and poverty. Instead of more policing and threats of military intervention, Baltimore needs real resources: affordable housing, quality education, mental health services, and living-wage jobs. Residents are tired of being blamed and oppressed by those in power. We call on our elected officials to listen to the community and invest in the people of Baltimore. Together, we can build a safer, more just city for all.
