Goal: We call on U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to prioritize an immediate ceasefire and the protection of civilians in all negotiations with Russia.
The war in Ukraine has raged for over three and a half years, causing immense suffering and displacement. Despite recent discussions between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine, no agreement was reached to stop the fighting. Instead, leaders have prioritized vague promises of a long-term settlement over the urgent need to save lives now.
Every day that fighting continues, more civilians are killed, families are torn apart, and communities are destroyed. The international community must not accept endless negotiations while people on the ground pay the price. We urge President Trump and President Zelenskyy to stand up for peace, human rights, and the immediate safety of Ukrainian people.
