Demand Immediate Ceasefire and Protection of Ukrainian Sovereignty

The recent summit between the United States and Russia ended without a commitment to halt the fighting in Ukraine. Instead, the focus shifted to a vague 'overall peace agreement' that appears to accommodate Moscow's interests, while ignoring the urgent need to protect Ukrainian lives and uphold international law.

We cannot allow temporary political calculations to override the fundamental rights of the Ukrainian people. The international community must stand firm in demanding an immediate ceasefire, humanitarian aid for those affected, and a peace process that respects Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Any agreement that legitimizes aggression or undermines Ukraine's self-determination sets a dangerous precedent for global security.

We call on Presidents Trump and Zelenskyy to use their upcoming meeting to demand an immediate ceasefire, reject any settlement that compromises Ukraine’s sovereignty, and ensure that peace talks are inclusive, transparent, and centered on the needs of the Ukrainian people.
