Target: President of the United States, U.S. Congress, NATO Secretary General, European Commission President
Goal: We call for transparent, inclusive, and just peace negotiations that center Ukrainian voices, uphold international law, and protect the rights and safety of all people in Ukraine.
The recent summit and subsequent calls between President Trump, President Zelensky, and NATO leaders have raised serious concerns about the direction of peace negotiations with Russia. Reports suggest that the US administration is pressuring Ukraine to accept territorial concessions in exchange for a ceasefire, with little guarantee of long-term security or justice for those affected by the war.
Such negotiations, if conducted without transparency and without the meaningful participation of Ukrainian civil society, risk legitimizing aggression and undermining the principles of self-determination and international law. The people of Ukraine have the right to determine their own future, free from coercion and external pressure.
We urge all parties to reject any settlement that trades land for peace without the consent of the Ukrainian people, and to ensure that any peace process is inclusive, democratic, and accountable. The international community must stand firm in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and human rights.
