Demand Immediate Ceasefire and Protection of Ukrainian Sovereignty

Target: President Donald Trump, U.S. Department of State, and U.S. Congress

Goal: We call on President Trump and all U.S. officials to advocate for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, prioritize the protection of Ukrainian sovereignty, and ensure that any peace negotiations do not sacrifice the rights and safety of the Ukrainian people.

The recent summit between the United States and Russia failed to secure a halt to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Instead, leaders have prioritized long-term agreements over urgently needed ceasefire measures, leaving civilians at risk and undermining Ukraine's sovereignty.

The war in Ukraine has caused immense suffering, displacement, and loss of life for over three and a half years. Despite international calls for a ceasefire, the recent U.S.-Russia summit concluded without any agreement to stop the fighting. President Trump's subsequent statements have echoed Russian President Vladimir Putin's stance, favoring a long-term settlement that prioritizes Moscow's interests over the immediate safety and rights of Ukrainians.

This approach risks legitimizing aggression and prolonging violence, rather than addressing the urgent humanitarian crisis. The United States must use its influence to demand an immediate ceasefire, uphold Ukraine's territorial integrity, and ensure that any negotiations are based on the principles of self-determination and international law.

We urge U.S. leaders to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and work with international partners to secure a just and lasting peace.
