Goal: Urge President Trump, President Zelenskyy, and international leaders to reject any peace agreement that undermines Ukraine’s territorial integrity or rewards military aggression, and to strengthen international support for Ukraine’s security and sovereign
The recent U.S.-Russia summit in Alaska ended with vague statements but no commitment to ending the war in Ukraine. President Trump has now shifted his position, favoring a 'comprehensive peace deal' over a ceasefire, aligning more closely with Russia’s demands. This approach risks legitimizing Russia’s ongoing aggression and could allow further violence during drawn-out negotiations.
Ukraine was not invited to the Alaska summit, even as Russian forces escalated attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians. While European leaders have reiterated their support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and a 'just and lasting peace,' their statements fall short of concrete action. Any peace process must prioritize the voices and security of Ukrainians, not the interests of aggressors or outside powers.
We call on all parties to reject any agreement that compromises Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders or fails to provide robust security guarantees. The international community must strengthen—not weaken—sanctions on Russia until it ends its war of aggression and withdraws from occupied territories. Ukraine’s future must not be decided without its full participation and consent.
