Target: President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, US Congress, and the United Nations

Goal: Ensure that any negotiations or agreements regarding Ukraine's sovereignty and future involve Ukrainian representatives and uphold international law, democratic principles, and the rights of all affected communities.

Recent high-level talks between US and Russian leaders have sidelined Ukrainian and European voices, risking an undemocratic settlement to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The future of Ukraine must not be decided without the participation of those most affected.

The recent Alaska Summit between President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump has raised grave concerns about the exclusion of Ukraine and European allies from critical peace negotiations. Reports suggest that key decisions about Ukraine's territorial integrity and future are being discussed without meaningful input from Ukrainian representatives or consideration of international law.

This approach undermines the sovereignty of Ukraine and sets a dangerous precedent for international relations. Peace and security in the region can only be achieved through transparent, inclusive negotiations that respect the rights and voices of all affected parties.

We call on US leaders and the international community to reject any backroom deals and to commit to a democratic process that centers Ukrainian agency, upholds human rights, and seeks a just and lasting peace.
