Target: Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky, and NATO Allies
Goal: We call on world leaders to guarantee that Ukraine’s leadership is central to all peace negotiations, to uphold Ukraine’s sovereignty, and to ensure any agreement protects human rights and justice for all affected by the war.
The recent Trump-Putin summit ended without a peace agreement for Ukraine, but with promises of progress and future talks. While efforts to end the war are welcome, we are deeply concerned that Ukraine’s future could be decided without its own government at the table. President Zelensky has made clear that a real and lasting peace must involve Ukraine directly, and must include the return of all prisoners and civilians, robust security guarantees, and no limitations on Ukraine’s sovereignty or alliances.
We urge world leaders to respect Ukraine's right to self-determination, to ensure that any peace process is transparent and inclusive, and to strengthen—not weaken—sanctions on Russia if it attempts to undermine a fair settlement. The voices of Ukrainian people and civil society must be heard in all negotiations, and any deal must prioritize justice, accountability, and the long-term security of Ukraine and its people.
