Goal: Ensure Ukraine's full participation in peace negotiations, uphold its territorial integrity, and secure binding, enforceable security guarantees.

As international discussions intensify around ending Russia's war against Ukraine, it is crucial that any negotiated settlement upholds Ukraine's sovereignty, security, and right to self-determination. We call on all leaders involved in the peace process to ensure that Ukraine's voice is central and that robust, enforceable guarantees are provided.

Recent talks between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, followed by a joint statement from European leaders, have set the stage for further negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine. While European leaders have welcomed diplomatic efforts, they have also made clear that any settlement must include 'ironclad' security guarantees for Ukraine, full Ukrainian participation, and no external veto over Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic path.

We are concerned by reports of proposals involving territorial exchanges and the lack of a written agreement or ceasefire. The international community must stand firm: Ukraine's internationally recognized borders cannot be changed by force, and no limitations should be placed on Ukraine's right to defend itself or to choose its alliances.

We urge all leaders to reject any arrangement that undermines Ukraine's sovereignty or security. Any peace process must be transparent, inclusive of Ukrainian voices at every stage, and result in binding security guarantees that deter further aggression. Economic and political pressure on Russia must be maintained until a just and lasting peace is achieved.

We call on you to uphold these principles and ensure that the outcome of ongoing negotiations reflects the will and rights of the Ukrainian people.
