Goal: We call on world leaders and negotiators to guarantee that President Zelensky is included in all future peace talks regarding the war in Ukraine.
Recent peace negotiations between the US and Russia have taken place without the direct participation of Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky. While diplomatic efforts to end the war are vital, it is unacceptable for decisions about Ukraine to be made without Ukrainian representation at the table. Excluding Ukraine’s leadership undermines the principles of sovereignty, democracy, and self-determination.
President Zelensky must have a central role in any discussions or agreements that affect the future of his country. We urge all parties involved in the peace process to respect Ukraine’s right to determine its own future and to ensure that Zelensky is fully included in all future negotiations.
