Recent talks between US and Russian leaders did not yield an agreement to end the conflict. Instead, political posturing and military spending continue to overshadow the urgent need for peace and humanitarian relief.
We call on US leaders to reject empty promises and instead pursue real diplomacy that centers the needs and voices of Ukrainians. The focus must shift from military aid and political grandstanding to supporting a fair, negotiated settlement and providing robust humanitarian assistance to those affected by the war.
It is time for the United States to lead with compassion and principle—supporting peace, not endless war.
