Demand Stronger U.S. Action to End the War in Ukraine

Target: President of the United States, U.S. Congress, and the Department of State
Goal: We call on the U.S. government to implement real and immediate consequences for Russia's continued invasion of Ukraine, and to take meaningful action to pressure Russia into a genuine ceasefire.
At the recent summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin refused to agree to a ceasefire or even to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Instead, he avoided new sanctions or pressure, effectively buying more time to continue the war. Former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Kurt Volker stated that Putin is 'going home happy,' having faced no new consequences for Russia's actions.
This inaction sends a dangerous message: that the U.S. will tolerate ongoing aggression and violations of international law. The Ukrainian people continue to suffer, and the principles of sovereignty and human rights are at risk. We urge the U.S. government to stand with Ukraine and take decisive action to help end the war.
Key Demands
- Impose immediate and comprehensive secondary sanctions on Russia targeting key economic sectors and individuals responsible for the war.
