Goal: Urge US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to immediately agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine and guarantee Ukraine's direct participation in all future negotiations.

As the United States and Russia hold high-level talks on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, it is imperative that the voices and interests of the Ukrainian people are not sidelined. Only a ceasefire and direct Ukrainian involvement can lay the groundwork for a just and lasting peace.

The recent summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, held in Alaska, took place without the direct participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy or representatives of Ukraine. While the stated goal is to end the war, meaningful progress cannot be achieved without a ceasefire and the full inclusion of Ukraine in all negotiations.

Ukraine and its European allies have made it clear: a ceasefire is the essential first step towards peace. Furthermore, all discussions about Ukraine's future must include Ukrainian leadership at the table. Excluding Ukraine from these talks undermines the principles of sovereignty and self-determination.
