Goal: Ensure transparency in the Trump-Putin Alaska summit and demand that Ukraine is meaningfully included in all negotiations regarding its future.
The Trump-Putin summit at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson is poised to discuss critical issues such as a ceasefire in Ukraine, prisoner exchanges, arms control, and possible economic or security guarantees. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not been invited to participate, despite the fact that decisions made at this summit will directly affect the people of Ukraine.
Past one-on-one meetings between Trump and Putin have lacked transparency, often leaving the public and even government officials in the dark about what was discussed or agreed upon. While the inclusion of aides and note-takers is a step forward, it is not enough. The people of Ukraine deserve a seat at the table, and the world deserves a full and accurate account of what transpires at this high-stakes meeting.
We call on President Trump and all summit participants to commit to full transparency and to ensure that Ukraine is directly represented in any negotiations or agreements about its future. Anything less undermines the principles of sovereignty, democracy, and international law.
Key Demands

- Include Ukrainian representatives, including President Zelenskyy, in all future negotiations and decision-making processes regarding Ukraine’s sovereignty and security.
