Target: President Joe Biden, US Congress, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, United Nations Security Council, and European Union leaders

Goal: To urge US and international leaders to commit to a peace process in Ukraine that rejects territorial concessions to Russia and centers the voices and rights of the Ukrainian people.

As the world watches high-stakes negotiations unfold between US and Russian leaders, we must ensure that any peace agreement upholds Ukraine's sovereignty and international law.

Recent diplomatic talks between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin have raised hopes for an end to the devastating war in Ukraine. While any genuine effort to secure peace is welcome, we must be vigilant: peace cannot come at the expense of justice, sovereignty, or the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has stated she would support a Nobel Peace Prize for Trump only if he secures peace without forcing Ukraine to cede land to Russia. We echo this principle and demand that any agreement:

We call on all negotiators and world leaders to stand firm against capitulation to aggression. The world must not reward or normalize the violation of international law. A just peace is possible—one that upholds human rights, democracy, and self-determination for Ukraine.
