Target: President of the United States, US Congress, and Secretary of State
Goal: We call on the US government to take decisive action to end Russia's war in Ukraine, support Ukrainian sovereignty, and hold Putin accountable for his aggression and human rights abuses.
The ongoing war in Ukraine, now in its fourth year, has caused immense suffering and loss of life. At the recent Alaska summit, President Trump failed to secure any agreement from Vladimir Putin to end the conflict, despite offering both incentives and threats. Instead, the summit provided Putin with the international recognition he craves, while the violence continues and Ukrainian voices remain excluded from negotiations.
Trump's approach has undermined years of Western efforts to isolate Putin for his invasion of Ukraine and crackdown on dissent. By stalling promised sanctions and prioritizing personal diplomacy over real accountability, the US risks emboldening further aggression and abandoning the Ukrainian people in their fight for self-determination.
We must demand that our leaders stand firmly for peace, democracy, and human rights. The US must not reward war crimes or allow authoritarian leaders to dictate the terms of peace. The Ukrainian people deserve support, solidarity, and a real chance at freedom and security.
