Protect Clean Energy Progress: Preserve Renewable Energy Subsidy Rules

The current federal tax credit rules for wind and solar projects have enabled rapid growth in clean energy, supporting hundreds of thousands of jobs and contributing trillions of dollars to the U.S. economy.

President Trump's recent executive order to tighten these rules threatens to derail this progress. Stricter definitions of project construction could eliminate up to 60 gigawatts of planned solar capacity by 2030, according to industry experts.
