Goal: Ensure all negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine are transparent, inclusive, and prioritize the rights and safety of Ukrainian civilians.

Recent closed-door meetings between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have excluded critical voices, including those of Ukraine and European allies. Decisions about the future of Ukraine must not be made without the direct involvement of the Ukrainian people and their democratically elected representatives.

The recent summit in Alaska between President Trump and President Putin was conducted behind closed doors, with Ukrainian and European leaders notably excluded from the discussions. This lack of transparency and exclusion of key stakeholders undermines the legitimacy of any agreements reached and threatens the sovereignty and self-determination of Ukraine.

Peace cannot be achieved by sidelining those most affected by war. We call on the U.S. administration and all international mediators to commit to open, inclusive negotiations that center the voices of Ukrainians, uphold international law, and protect human rights. Secret deals that ignore the suffering of civilians and the democratic will of the Ukrainian people are unacceptable.

We demand accountability, transparency, and a peace process that puts people over politics and power plays. The world is watching—stand on the side of justice and democracy.
