Target: President Donald Trump, President Vladimir Putin, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the United Nations
Goal: We call for transparent, inclusive, and accountable peace negotiations that center the needs and rights of Ukrainians, uphold international law, and ensure meaningful participation from civil society.
The Alaska summit between President Trump and President Putin ended with no concrete steps to halt the war in Ukraine. While the two leaders discussed potential agreements in secrecy, they failed to deliver a ceasefire or a roadmap for peace. The lack of transparency and exclusion of Ukrainian voices from these negotiations is unacceptable.
Millions of Ukrainians continue to suffer from violence, displacement, and insecurity. Any peace process must prioritize their rights, safety, and self-determination—not just the interests of powerful states. Furthermore, meaningful peace cannot be achieved without the involvement of Ukrainian civil society, international human rights observers, and the broader global community.
We demand an end to secretive, top-down diplomacy and call for a peace process that is open, accountable, and just. The future of Ukraine must not be decided without Ukrainians at the table.
