Goal: We urge the U.S. government to ensure transparency, uphold Ukrainian sovereignty, and involve all stakeholders in any negotiations with Russia regarding Ukraine.

Recent high-level talks between President Trump and President Putin have left the public in the dark about crucial issues affecting Ukraine, European security, and global peace. With no clear agreements on ceasefire, land swapping, or sanctions, it is imperative that the voices of those impacted are heard and that democratic oversight is restored.

The recent meeting between President Trump and President Putin concluded without any concrete announcements on ceasefire, sanctions, or territorial integrity in Ukraine. President Zelenskyy, whose country is directly affected, was not included in the talks, and the public remains uninformed about the substance of the negotiations. The prospect of land swapping, rejected by Ukraine, undermines the sovereignty of nations and sets a dangerous precedent. We call for democratic accountability, the inclusion of Ukrainian and European voices, and a firm commitment to peace and justice in the region.

It is unacceptable for decisions impacting millions to be made behind closed doors, without transparency or input from those most affected. We demand that the U.S. government uphold its commitments to democracy, international law, and the right of all peoples to self-determination.
