Target: President Donald Trump, U.S. Congress, Department of State, and the White House National Security Council
Goal: We call for open, accountable, and inclusive diplomatic processes to ensure any negotiations on Ukraine's future prioritize the voices and rights of Ukrainians, uphold international law, and involve all affected parties.
The recent meeting in Alaska between President Trump and President Putin has left the public and global community with more questions than answers. While President Putin claims an 'understanding' was reached, President Trump insists 'there's no deal until there's a deal.' This lack of clarity and transparency is alarming, especially as the future of Ukraine and the stability of Europe hang in the balance.
We are deeply concerned that these talks did not include Ukrainian representatives or European leaders, whose countries and peoples are directly impacted by the ongoing conflict. Any decisions about Ukraine must not be made without Ukraine at the table. Secretive negotiations risk undermining democratic principles, international law, and the sovereignty of Ukraine.
We urge the U.S. government to commit to a transparent, democratic, and inclusive process that centers the voices of those most affected by the war and ensures accountability in all diplomatic efforts.
