Target: United States Government, Russian Federation, and International Mediators
Goal: We call for transparent, multilateral negotiations that prioritize the voices and rights of the Ukrainian people, uphold international law, and seek a just and lasting peace.
The recent Alaska summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin focused on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Despite several hours of discussion, no formal agreement was reached. Both leaders spoke of 'progress' and a desire for peace, but the lack of Ukrainian participation and concrete steps is troubling.
Peace cannot be negotiated without the direct involvement of those most affected. The Ukrainian people deserve a seat at the table, and any negotiations must be transparent, inclusive, and grounded in respect for Ukraine's sovereignty and international law. We urge all parties to commit to a diplomatic process that centers human rights, justice, and meaningful participation from civil society.
