Target: Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, US State Department, Russian Foreign Ministry, and international mediators
Goal: We call for full transparency, meaningful inclusion of Ukrainian representatives, and international oversight in all negotiations affecting Ukraine’s future.
The future of Ukraine should not be decided behind closed doors by foreign leaders. The recent summit between Presidents Trump and Putin, held in Alaska, ended with vague promises and no concrete commitments to peace, ceasefire, or the involvement of Ukrainian officials.
Such secretive negotiations undermine the sovereignty of Ukraine and exclude those most affected by the ongoing conflict. The Ukrainian people, civil society organizations, and international peace advocates must have a seat at the table. We demand that all discussions about Ukraine’s future be transparent, inclusive, and accountable to the global community.
Peace cannot be achieved without the voices of those directly impacted. We urge immediate action to ensure that any agreement is subject to public scrutiny, respects Ukraine’s sovereignty, and prioritizes human rights and justice for all affected communities.
