Demand a Just and Lasting Peace for Ukraine: No Deals Without Ukrainian Consent

While President Trump and President Putin meet in Alaska, the war in Ukraine rages on. Russian forces continue to launch deadly attacks, killing civilians and destroying infrastructure. The Russian regime openly signals its imperial ambitions, seeking to restore a lost empire at the expense of free nations like Ukraine and Belarus.

Any discussions of 'land swaps' or backroom deals that disregard Ukrainian sovereignty are unacceptable. The future of Ukraine must be determined by Ukrainians themselves—not by foreign powers seeking to divide up territory for their own interests. The United States must stand firmly for international law, human rights, and the self-determination of all peoples.

We call on President Trump and his administration to:

• Reject any negotiations or agreements that cede Ukrainian territory to Russia.
• Ensure Ukrainian representatives are at the center of all talks regarding their future.
• Demand an immediate ceasefire and withdrawal of Russian forces from all occupied Ukrainian lands.
• Support accountability for war crimes and justice for victims of the conflict.
• Oppose normalization of relations with Russia until it ends its aggression and respects international law.

History has shown that peace built on injustice cannot last. Stand with Ukraine for a just and lasting peace.
