Stand with Alaska: Oppose Putin and Trump’s Dangerous Alliance

Target: U.S. Congress, President of the United States, Alaska State Government
Goal: Demand accountability for war crimes, solidarity with Ukraine, and an end to legitimizing authoritarian leaders on U.S. soil.
On the occasion of Vladimir Putin’s visit to Anchorage, Alaska, and his meeting with Donald Trump, local residents and activists gathered in protest. Their message was clear: Alaska opposes tyranny, stands with Ukraine, and rejects any attempt to legitimize war criminals or undermine democracy in the United States.
We condemn the abduction of over 20,000 Ukrainian children by Russian forces and demand their immediate return. We also denounce the decision to host Putin, a known war criminal, on American soil, especially in a state with a history deeply intertwined with Russian imperialism.
We call on all Americans to join Alaskans in standing up for justice, human rights, and the sovereignty of Ukraine. The United States must not provide a platform for authoritarian leaders or those who enable them.
