Demand Transparent, Inclusive Peace Talks for Ukraine—No Deals Without Ukrainian Voices

The recent summit between President Trump and President Putin in Alaska has raised urgent concerns about the future of Ukraine and the integrity of international diplomacy. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European allies have been excluded from these high-stakes talks, sparking fears that Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity may be compromised behind closed doors.

It is unacceptable for the fate of Ukraine to be decided without the full participation and consent of its democratically elected government and people. Any agreement that legitimizes Russian occupation of Ukrainian territory or freezes the conflict without justice and security for Ukrainians is a betrayal of international law and democratic values.

We call on President Trump and the U.S. government to:

• Guarantee that Ukraine is fully included in all negotiations and decisions about its future.
• Reject any deals that would cede Ukrainian territory or undermine Ukraine's right to self-determination.
• Insist on a just peace that includes the withdrawal of Russian forces, accountability for war crimes, and robust security guarantees for Ukraine.
• Maintain transparency in all diplomatic engagements and keep the public informed about the substance of negotiations.
