Goal: Ensure that any negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine are transparent, include Ukrainian representatives, and uphold the principles of national sovereignty and self-determination.
The recent summit between President Trump and President Putin in Alaska, held without the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy or Ukrainian representatives, raises serious concerns about the legitimacy and fairness of any agreements reached. Decisions that affect millions of Ukrainians must not be made without their direct involvement. History has shown that secretive, top-down deals rarely result in lasting peace or justice for those on the ground.
We call for an immediate commitment to transparent, inclusive, and democratic peace negotiations that center the voices and interests of Ukrainians. Any ceasefire, territorial agreement, or security guarantee must be subject to the consent of the Ukrainian people and their democratically elected government. The international community must reject any process that sidelines those most impacted by war and occupation.

Only through genuine, participatory diplomacy can a just and lasting peace be achieved.
