Restore and Expand U.S. Leadership in Clean Energy and Green Jobs

As the world rapidly shifts toward renewable energy, the United States is falling behind due to the Trump administration's aggressive rollback of environmental regulations and cuts to clean energy programs. China is investing massively in solar, wind, batteries, and electric vehicles, creating millions of jobs and dominating global markets. Meanwhile, U.S. workers and communities are losing out as critical infrastructure projects are defunded and green manufacturing jobs disappear.

Instead of doubling down on fossil fuels, we must invest in the industries of the future. Restoring and expanding federal support for renewable energy will not only create high-quality jobs but also strengthen national security, reduce pollution, and keep America competitive in the global economy.

We demand that Congress and the Administration:

• End subsidies and tax breaks for fossil fuel companies.
• Restore and increase funding for solar, wind, battery, and electric vehicle research, development, and deployment.
• Reinstate and strengthen environmental protections rolled back in recent years.
• Support a just transition for workers and communities impacted by the shift to clean energy.
• Invest in domestic supply chains for critical minerals and green technologies.

The U.S. must reclaim its leadership in clean energy to ensure a prosperous, sustainable future for all.
