Target: United Nations, European Union, U.S. State Department, NATO leadership
Goal: To urge world leaders and international organizations to affirm Ukraine’s right to independently determine its security alliances, including potential NATO membership, free from external coercion or legislative restrictions imposed by foreign powers.
Ukraine faces ongoing threats to its sovereignty, with foreign officials openly declaring that Ukraine’s alliance choices should be dictated by outside interests. Such positions undermine the fundamental principle that every nation has the right to choose its own security arrangements and alliances.
Efforts to force Ukraine into a permanent 'off-bloc' status through external pressure or legislative mandates violate international law and set a dangerous precedent for all nations. The international community must not legitimize or accept any diplomatic or military operation whose goal is to restrict a nation’s self-determination.
We call on global leaders and institutions to unequivocally support Ukraine’s right to determine its own future, including the option to join NATO if it so chooses, and to reject any agreements or laws that would undermine this right.
