Target: U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, and the President of the United States
Goal: We urge Congress to commit to comprehensive investigations into potential abuses of power by former Trump administration officials and to pass legislation granting statehood to Washington, D.C.
For too long, those in positions of power have evaded accountability, undermining the rule of law and the trust of the American people. Recent events have shown the need for robust congressional oversight to investigate potential misconduct and ensure that no one is above the law—regardless of political affiliation.
At the same time, over 700,000 residents of Washington, D.C. continue to be denied full representation in Congress, despite paying taxes and serving in the military. This is a fundamental injustice that must be corrected.
We call on our elected officials to:
- Use all available legal tools, including subpoenas, to investigate credible allegations of misconduct by former Trump administration officials.
- Advance and pass legislation to grant statehood to Washington, D.C., ensuring full representation and equal rights for its residents.
- Uphold the principles of democracy, transparency, and justice in all congressional proceedings.
