Goal: We call on T1 Energy, Corning, and relevant government agencies to guarantee that the new domestic solar supply chain prioritizes fair wages, safe working conditions, and strong environmental safeguards.

A new agreement between T1 Energy and Corning promises to build a fully American-made solar panel supply chain, creating thousands of jobs and reducing reliance on foreign suppliers. As the U.S. invests in renewable energy, it is essential that these advancements uphold the highest standards for workers’ rights and environmental protection.

The recent partnership between T1 Energy and Corning marks a significant step forward for American-made renewable energy. With plans to manufacture solar panels entirely within the United States, this initiative is expected to create around 6,000 jobs in Michigan and Texas.
