Support Fair Negotiations and Workers' Rights at Air Canada and Canada Post

Target: Air Canada management, Canada Post management, and the Government of Canada

Goal: Urge Air Canada, Canada Post, and the federal government to respect collective bargaining, avoid forced arbitration or lockouts, and ensure fair contracts for workers.

Workers at Air Canada and Canada Post are standing up for fair treatment, safe working conditions, and a living wage. As negotiations reach a critical point, it's essential that we support their right to bargain collectively and demand that employers and the government respect workers' rights.

Flight attendants at Air Canada and postal workers at Canada Post are on the front lines of essential services, yet they continue to face unfair working conditions, inadequate pay, and threats of lockouts or forced arbitration. These workers deserve respect, safe workplaces, and a fair share of the value they create.

Instead of meaningful negotiations, Air Canada has threatened to lock out over 10,000 flight attendants, while Canada Post is pushing for restructuring that could undermine job security. Both companies have asked the federal government to intervene, potentially stripping workers of their right to bargain freely.

We call on Air Canada, Canada Post, and the Government of Canada to respect the collective bargaining process, avoid imposing binding arbitration or lockouts, and negotiate in good faith. Workers deserve better, and the public stands with them.
